Ultimately, field service would be nothing without our field workers. They are often working in isolation, reliant upon themselves to find the fix our customers so desperately need. They are often walking into stressful environments where your companies products have let the client down, and it is down to them to not only fix the problem but to build the relationship between your company and the client.Â
Increasingly great engineers need far more than technical skills. They need to be good listeners and communicators, authoritative subject matter experts and have an eye for a revenue opportunities. They need to do all of this and still have deep technical knowledge.Â
